The new website for GVTC has been launched. Earlier this year, Foundry512, an Austin-based ad agency partnered with the fiber-optics communications provider to help craft an online experience and brand relaunch campaign that better connects the award-winning company with its customers and show how their innovative service can match the top telecom companies in America.
One of GVTC’s wishes was to move its website away from the old design, which made it a challenge for its visitors to shop, contact them, and even donate to the GVTC Foundation. This outdated setup depicted the company as a modest local internet service provider struggling to grow. But it didn’t take long before our team was ready to get started. We met with GVTC’s community located near us in New Braunfels and San Antonio. And after getting to know their diverse team members and tapping into their impressive history, we were confident that we could unlock the solutions to reposition their technology service and overall brand for their growing, diverse customer base.
Foundry512’s mission was to create brand identity solutions that broke GVTC away from the humble impression it had and elevate its brand into a national contender. The only significant challenge was to avoid alienating their loyal customers and users that have already been with the company. We used everyone’s creative talents to expertly create a website that truly represented what an industry-leading technology company looks like today while also keeping some of the local personalities that GVTC was proud of.
And so, Foundry512’s major goal was to create a website design that repositioned the brand as a trusted and nationally ranked service provider. That meant building a website that was modern, intuitive, and immersive. The result was a website that both teams saw as being better than imagined. Maria Claudia Redd, Marketing Manager for GVTC, said this regarding the website: “We are proud to now offer our customers an intuitive, easy to navigate and personalized experience, thanks to Foundry 512’s vision, attention to detail, and collaboration. They truly listened to our goals and challenges and designed a site that will continue to grow with the needs of our customers.”
GVTC’s web design boasts an intuitive experience that is perfect for its growing and diverse user base. Every corner of the website is scaled with modern UX strategies to help visitors find exactly what they’re looking for exactly when they need it. Not only that, but we have upgraded the UI with smooth transitions, enlarged elements, straightforward CTAs, and carefully placed navigational cues. The flexibility of the design also allows it to be both personalized and automated. We’ve implemented marketing communication messages that are customized based on users’ browsing habits, customer statuses, and geolocation. This implementation opens the door for exciting opportunities for unique customer interactions with GVTC’s Connecting You campaign.
Finally, our team developed a design that represented the diversity of the type of customers GVTC has by designing a responsive website for accessibility and inclusivity. We customized it with bold colors and font combinations selected to meet accessibility requirements. From media to images, everything was designed for optimum readability and to show GVTC’s brand relevance to its ever-increasing, modern user base. We’ve featured fathers with their children, female entrepreneurs, and highlighted multiple ethnicities and lifestyles. This growth in GVTC’s identity breaks current societal norms and outdated trends in marketing by more accurately reflecting the true local diversity of the South Central Texas community.
Thanks to a collaborative effort with the Foundry512 team and GVTC team, the website successfully launched with the new UX and UI implementations. With this latest user-centered web design, we’ve designed an adaptable and fluid website that can dynamically expand based on marketing communication strategies, initiatives, customer objectives, and user growth.
